Summary:
John is not one of those contractors you hear about who start a job and
then disappear. I am a relatively new, first-time homeowner and John is
the only contractor I have ever hired. He did two big projects for us
last year, remodeling our bathroom and finishing our basement. Both
turned out BEAUTIFULLY - my wife and I have gotten numerous compliments
on both rooms. Plus, John was incredibly RELIABLE. He started when he
said he would and showed up EVERY DAY until the jobs were done.
Contractor Comment: We also created two
new cinder block buttresses in the basement to reinforce a caving wall as
per the structural Engineer specs. |

Summary: Castle Care
was very easy to work with and was very professional in every way, from
initial estimates, mid-stream updates and documentation. We have done
two projects with Castle Care and would not hesitate to work with them
in the future.
Contractor Comment: The projects
involved fixing a leaking water main and the remodeling of a full
bathroom |

Summary: I would work
with John again. He was a pleasure to work with -- professional, written
estimates, and frequent communication during the work meant we got what
we wanted. John is not for you if you just want to hand the job off and
let the contractor make all the decisions, but if you like to be
involved, he is an excellent person to work with. Job quality was very,
very high. John finished our basement, redid some drainage in our
backyard, and added formal decorative detailing to our dining room. He
also re-hung doors and placed new chandeliers and various other small
projects. We were satisfied with all the work.
Contractor Comment: We also installed
two French doors (a double and a single), four double bi-fold doors and a
regular six panel inside door. |

Summary: We have used
Castle Care for about five years. John has cleaned the exterior of our
house, and then after painting and doing minor carpentry, he took on the
challenge of replacing our living room ceiling and wood paneling with
beams. We have always appreciated John’s habit of arriving on time,
cleaning up when he is finished, and providing a written estimate before
starting. We have never been disappointed with his work, and recommend
him highly to anyone.
Contractor Comment: In addition Castle
Care also installed 60 feet of vinyl fencing and two custom-made vinyl
doors with lock. |

Summary: The owner of
Castle Care, John, was a pleasure to work with. He saved me close to a
thousand dollars (compared to other quotes I had received) by coming up
with a great alternative for repairing my front entry way and garage.
John stayed within budget and completed the job in a timely manner. He
was willing to go the extra mile to ensure the job was completed to my
satisfaction. It's not everyday you find contractors who are genuinely
interested in doing the job right and pleasing the customer. I will
definitely recommend Castle Care to my friends and family.
Contractor Comment: Castle Care also
replaced an Exterior Door and a side Storm Door. |

Summary: I am
delighted with the new bathroom, which John installed. We now have
everything new, including a tiled floor, tiled wall around a super-sized
tub, and lots of storage where there had been none before. Obviously,
this entailed also a lot of plumbing. In spite of some unforeseen
problems, which required extra time and work, John kept within the
agreed budget. The workmanship is great and the results are more than I
had imagined. I smile every time I go into that room.
Contractor Comment: The bathroom was
entirely gutted down and rebuilt from the studs up. |

Summary: We had John
of Castle Care do some work for us. He painted some of our rooms. We
were satisfied with his work. Because we are of the old school and quite
conscious of work that was done by 'old timers' we were constantly aware
of how the work was done and if it were done completely and neatly.
Sometimes, because of our experience with other workers, we were
concerned about neatness and cleanliness and so were kept a careful eye
on these things. John does a good job and is a most likeable person who
is sincere. He is one that we can ask questions of and get good answers.
But as I said previously, and I say this because, as an artist, I do
commissioned work for other people, we have to always be a step ahead of
all workers that they do the best that they can. I sincerely believe
that John does the best that he can.
Contractor Comment: Additionally we
also installed a new vanity/sink and faucet in the master bathroom. |
